Bessemer’s Top 10 Laws for Being “SaaS-y”
We were introduced to Bessemer’s “Laws” regarding the SaaS business model during a recent Force.com webinar. Solid prescriptive advice and economic analysis, but the concepts are geared towards larger ISVs / SaaS vendors and it will be interesting to see how the economics apply to the “SaaS on PaaS” model that Delivered Innovation has adopted in partnership with Coghead. When companies like Delivered Innovation operate “in the cloud” (leverage cloud computing), the standardization / consolidation / elimination of infrastructure requirements creates an entirely new variable expense model related to service delivery.
